Terms and Conditions

Effective January 1, 2026

Juneau Concrete, juneauconcrete.com, estimates@juneauconcrete.com

Accepting these terms

These terms cover your use of the Juneau Concrete website and any work you hire us to do. If you browse the site, send us a request, or sign an estimate with us, you're agreeing to them, so please read them before you do.

If a signed estimate or contract for your job says something different from this page, the signed document wins for that job. You can start from our home page to see what we do, or read more about us before you reach out.

What we do

Juneau Concrete is a concrete contractor in Juneau, AK. We build driveways, patios, sidewalks, steps, garage floors, slabs, footings, foundations and retaining walls, and we do stamped and decorative concrete, concrete cutting and foundation raising.

The site describes our work in general terms, so it isn't a promise about any one job. What we'll do at your property, with what materials and by when, is set out in the written estimate for that job.

Estimates and pricing

We give free estimates at your property, and asking for one doesn't commit you to anything. Each estimate is written and says what work it covers and how long its price holds.

Concrete prices depend on things we often can't see until the old slab is out, like soft or wet subgrade, which is the ground the new slab sits on, buried roots, or old concrete thicker than it looked. If we find something like that, we'll stop, show you, and agree on any change in writing before we go on, so you won't get a surprise on the final bill.

Scheduling, weather and cancellation

We set a start date when you accept the estimate, and we'll keep you posted if it moves. Rain, freezing temperatures and material delivery can push a pour back, because concrete placed in the wrong conditions ends up weaker, and we won't pour just to hold a date.

If you need to reschedule or cancel, call us at (907) 560-0628 as early as you can. Once materials are ordered or the crew has started digging out, you may owe for that work and those materials, and your estimate will say how that's handled.

Payment

Your estimate or contract lists what's due, when, and how you can pay. On larger jobs that can include a payment up front so we can order materials, with the rest due when the work is done.

If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's settled, and we may use the steps Alaska law allows to collect what's owed. We'd much rather talk it through, so call us if something's holding you up.

Your part in the job

We need clear access to the work area, and we need you to tell us about anything buried that we might hit, such as sprinkler lines, drains or private wiring. Once the slab is poured, it needs time to cure, which is the wait while it hardens to full strength, so keep people, pets and vehicles off it for as long as we tell you.

Damage from walking or driving on the concrete too soon, or from things we weren't told about, isn't something we're responsible for.

Warranty and what concrete does on its own

We stand behind our work, and we want you satisfied with it. Any written warranty for your job comes with your contract, and it spells out what's covered and for how long.

Concrete can get small hairline cracks even when it's built right, which is why we cut control joints, grooves that give the slab a planned place to crack. Small cracks like that, color differences between batches, and wear from road salt, freeze and thaw, heavy equipment or poor drainage the job didn't include aren't defects unless your written warranty says they are. Beyond any written warranty, we don't make other promises, stated or implied, to the extent Alaska law allows.

Limits on our liability

If something goes wrong with work we did, our responsibility is limited to fixing that work or refunding what you paid for it. We aren't responsible for indirect losses, such as lost use of your property or costs that came from something outside our control.

We're fully licensed and insured, and nothing on this page limits a responsibility that Alaska law doesn't let a business limit.

Using this website

The information on this site is general, and we try to keep it accurate, but it may not fit your property. Don't rely on it in place of an estimate from someone who has seen your job.

Photos and text on the site belong to Juneau Concrete, so please don't copy them for your own use. Links to other sites are there for your convenience, and we don't control what's on them.

If we disagree

If you're unhappy with something, call us or use our contact page and tell us what's wrong, because most problems get sorted out quickly once we're both looking at the same slab. If we can't settle it between us, we'll each try mediation in good faith before going to court.

Any court case about these terms or our work will be brought in the courts that serve Juneau, Alaska.

Governing law

These terms, and any work we do for you, are governed by the laws of the State of Alaska. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.

Changes to these terms

We may update this page from time to time, and the version posted here is the one that applies when you use the site. A change won't alter the terms of an estimate or contract you've already signed.

If you have a question about any of this, call us at (907) 560-0628 or reach us through our contact page, and we'll get back to you within 1 business day.
